Think

This is a powerful word. So powerful that it is what made us what we are. So powerful that it is what defines all of us. To say that everyone has thought at least once in his life might be an exaggeration but personally, Rene Descartes says it all - "I think therefore I am". It is a common expression but to understand it requires oneself to think. Meditation might be considered as thinking or even to create science might be considered as thinking but what is it actually? It is the Most Powerful Act that kicked us out of Eden itself. Powerful enough for God to curse our very existence. Is it really that bad? Or did God want us to think? Why would he make us suffer if he wanted us to think? To know these answers, one must think. Think. What if...? Grow your brain. One asks questions that only one could answer. If we know it then why do we ask ourselves? Maybe we find answers... maybe we create them... maybe we knew it all the way long. Ask yourselves- can you think? or are you just remembering? Do you know more than you actually learnt? Innate... put that word to the test. You suffer your whole life (if you are a theist) because of the word "think". Do you know the power of that word? Think who you are... are you just a piece of mud that evolved or do you have more significance? If you do not think, then you do not become who you are. So Think for you are not worthless!

Virginia Tech!

We forget the main cause behind the action that Cho Seung Hui took that day. We blame the incident on his mental instability and lack of thinking. I think that he was a smart man to have planned all this out by himself and also do the perfect crime without anybody being able to stop him. He might have thought about this attack for a long time, about whether he wanted to commit it or not. He was supposedly thought to be mental (which he was not found to be) in his past but I do not make any connections from that to this incident at Virginia Tech. He said he died as Jesus Christ not as a mockery, but to make us understand his motives. We could have prevented this. The availability of guns, the violence in movies and games are not the main cause behind this tragic event. If a man is determined to do something, he will find a way to do it and nothing can stop him. He was breaking the rules when he brought the gun to the school but he did anyways. Rules can not stop a determined person. The main cause for which he died and committed the massacre was the discrimination that he had to go through. He did this as an example to show that Americans need to stop thinking about the superiority of their culture over the rest of the world. I have been here for less than three years and I have already come across people making fun of my accent, color, food, culture, etc. Anyone who faces such discrimination constantly from his peers is bound to break free at some point. His message clearly states that he was made fun of and that many cruel things were done to him. What we have to learn from this is not that he was a mad man, but that we could have prevented it if we didn't make fun of people and if we had left behind our ethnocentric values. Respect every culture, every language, and every different colored person. If a person does not know English, it does not mean that he is uncultured. We have to know that people's cultures might be far better than us. We should accept that the Virginia Tech was a cause of what our culture and our values can do to people and I repeat, this did not happen because of guns, games, or his mental health. Prevent this from happening. Prevent the racial comments. America should try to fix our own problems before trying to mend other countries. We must drop the notion that America is a perfect country. We should treat everyone equal, doesn't matter if they know the language or not. Schools must teach the students to respect and not do make fun of people different from themselves. If not, the banning of guns or any such thing is going to do nothing to help stop the incident from reoccurrence. This did not happen because of his mental health but because of us. The news media does not tell people about that truth that he wanted to tell us. We hate him but to prevent this from recurring, we should listen to what he said. Try watching the movie "Bang Bang, You're Dead" and that might help understand why people do such crimes. America is not for the KKK, but America is for everyone-despite the color, sex, age, or language. The news must focus more about why he did this and stop blaming this on his mental health. We are not hiding the truth, the news should speak the truth if the people like it or not. American culture did this and it will happen again if we don't prevent it - stop the discrimination. Fix our problems before we try to help this world. America is not perfect and we should not think it is either! America shouldn't be ethnocentric, we should respect!

Back Again!

well for the best part i get to rest for sometime... anyways so i thought of reconsidering to write blogs again and so yea i am here.. well something i came acress these days was how circumcision is actually benificial for preventing STD's by like 50%.. it seems like time makes everything clear.. like why relgious people did it anyways and science just makes us "reason" the cause of it... well i guess religion is superior in some way then... seems to me like a circle.. science just come back and telling people how and why we shoud do the things that our belief systems already tell us... seems kinda weird to me..

Jesus and the Flying Spaghetti Monster

i do not know who might have suggested something weird like this anyways; who might have though the flying spaghetti monster or whatever would be compared to someone like Jesus. First of all the Flying Spaghetti Monster is made up of matter, and so it had to created in the first place. Jesus is not related to this monster because there is nothing of the monster that resembles Jesus as the son. The intelligent design does agree with something or someone having to do with our being, but it is not likely to be made out of matter as we suppose as everything matter was created. Well, I hope my blog clears your thoughts about how the Flying Spaghetti Monster could not possibly be related in anyway to Jesus, and why the Intelligent Design is important as it shows what is true and that people who are rejecting scientific truth are just afraid that everything they feared is happening i.e. they are going to be judged. First people asked for proof, now they mock the proof and this is what can be seen from this blasphemy of the Flying Spaghetti Monster or what ever might follow suit.

One of my friend's told me about the lyrics of the song... it's good .. just read along..(kinda hard to sing along)

R. Williams - Nan's Song

You said when you'd die that you'd walk
with me everyday
And I'd start to cry and say please don't talk that way
With the blink of an eye the lord came
and asked you to meet
You went to a better place but He stole you
away from me

And now she lives in heaven
But i know they let her out
To take care of me

There's a strange kind of light
Caressing me tonight
Pay silence my fears she is near
Bringing heaven down here

I miss your love i miss your touch
But I'm feeling you everyday
And i can almost here you say
"You've come along way baby"

And now you live in heaven
But i know they let you out
To take care of me

There's a strange kind of light
In my bedroom tonight
Payer silence my fears she is near
Bring your heaven down here

You taught me kings and queens
While stroking my hair
In my darkest hour I know you are there
Kneeling down beside me
Whispering my prayer

Yes there's a strange kind of light
Caressing me tonight
Pray silence my fear
She is near
Bringing heaven down here

The next time that we meet
I will bow at her feet
And say wasn't life sweet
Then we'll prepare
To take heaven down there

"He turned to me. A few sweat beads rolled from his bald scalp. ‘Would I ever lie to you, Amir agha?’ Suddenly I decided to toy with him a little. ‘I don’t know. Would you?’ ‘I’d sooner eat dirt,’ he said with a look of indignation. ‘Really? You’d do that?’[. . .] there was something fascinating-albeit in a sick way-about teasing Hassan. Kind of like when we used to play insect torture. Except now, he was the ant and I was holding the magnifying glass [. . .] ‘If you asked, I would,’ he finally said, looking right at me. I dropped my eyes. To this day I find it hard to gaze directly at people like Hassan, people who mean every word they say. ‘But I wonder,’ he added. ‘Would you ever ask me to do such a thing, Amir agha?’"

lol... you got to read the book to understand the real theme of the book... anyways try reading it if you get a chance...

    Four Seasons

The following pictures are of the same place but
    taken in different Seasons...

    Lessons on Life

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge
things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look
at a pear tree that was a great distance away.
The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in
summer, and the youngest son in the fall.
When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe
    what they had seen.

    The first son
said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.

    The second
son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so
sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever
    seen.
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping
with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they
had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.
He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season,
and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are

    up.
If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring,
the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.
